'For Maë'  Photo Series 2025 -

 

I gave birth to my first child, Maë in January 2025. Whilst looking after her, I began to see the world anew through her eyes - namely her fascination with small things in our living environment. In illustrating the importance of our connection to it and thereby to one another, this is a short series of photos that asks the viewer look closer at the ecological bonds that exist between us and the natural world - a counter narrative to the increasingly anthropocentric, fast paced ideal that  dominates today.
