About.
Daisy Moseley (b.1989) is a British photographer and filmmaker based in Marseille.
Her work focuses on overlooked communities, exploring visibility, gendered labour and the natural world through portraiture shot on film. She spends time with her subjects before photographing them to build the necessary trust and understanding she believes is needed to make a meaningful image.
Her debut series, 'Carers' (2024 - ongoing), was inspired by the end of life care her mother provided for her grandmother. It draws attention to the unseen labour of those caring for others, on both a personal and professional level. 'Precious', from the series, was selected for the National Portrait Gallery's Taylor Wessing Photo Prize 2025. 'Mphilelens Rose' won the British Journal of Photography's Portrait of Britain and the series has been shortlisted for the Royal Photography Society’s IPE 167 2026 exhibition.
She is currently working on her second series, that explores Motherhood, Migration and the reimagination of home in Marseille.
